About Madelyn

Hello, everyone! My name is Madelyn Hunter, and I am thrilled to announce my candidacy for the position of Penmet Parks Commissioner. I have had the privilege of working with Penmet in the past as a contractor, and the owner of French Toast Theater. This experience has given me unique insight into how we can make it an even better place for our community.

Penmet already offers many fantastic tools and resources, but I believe there is still room for improvement. If elected as commissioner, one of my top priorities will be to enhance communication between the citizens and the board. It is crucial that everyone's voice is heard, and I will work tirelessly to maintain positive interactions and ensure that the community's concerns and ideas are taken into account.

Additionally, I am deeply committed to the safety of our programs, especially those involving our amazing kids. I will develop and implement robust safety protocols to guarantee that only qualified and responsible individuals are entrusted with their well-being. We owe it to our children to provide them with the safest and most nurturing environments possible.

Another area I will focus on is the responsible allocation of our tax dollars. As a parks commissioner, I will make it a priority to ensure that our resources are being spent appropriately, with the community's best interests at heart. Transparency and accountability will be at the forefront of my approach, and I will constantly strive to make decisions that benefit our community as a whole.
